Coronavirus – Caring for your hands while using Hand Sanitisers

Thanks to the current situation in the country with the arrival and current proliferation of the coronavirus, it is imperative that we are very careful with our tactile interactions from day to day. We are encouraged to ensure that we wash our hands thoroughly and apply lots of hand sanitiser to make certain that we prevent ourselves from becoming vector for the virus.

This is inadvertently going to lead to having very dry hands as the very act of washing your hands and the application of the alcohol based sanitiser will dry your hands out.

Our advice here is simple… Moisturise your hands after every wash and after every application of the sanitiser. The antiviral and antibacterial effectiveness of the sanitiser will not be affected and you will not be left with dry hands.

We recommend any of our lotion moisturisers in the 30ml size so that you can conveniently carry it around with you.

For those of you with sensitive skin, eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis this is going to be a very trying time for you as the constant use of alcohol based sanitisers will without doubt, lead to a flare up of your condition.

You MUST NOT avoid these measures and must comply with the measures in place to ensure your safety and that of others around you. The dryness caused can be managed very effectively by moisturising after EVERY application of the sanitiser to prevent dryness. You must use a moisturiser that is rich enough to deal with extra dryness that will be caused by the alcohol based gel.

We recommend you carry Girl lotion 30ml with you. Its blend of Chamomile, Sweet Orange, and Geranium essential oils will help to manage any dry skin and keep flare ups to a minimum. And remember for any flare ups that occur there is Grace Serum to calm things down straight away before they become a problem.

Stay calm, Stay healthy and Stay safe everyone.
